When is the best time?
Booking the right hour for your outdoor photography session.
A common question that is often asked, "What is the best time to do outdoor photography?" The answer is, anytime! Booking the right hour for your outdoor photography session does make all the difference when we are talking about lighting.
In other words certain hours of the day produce or give us different types of light throughout the day. So if you are someone who is looking for that romantic low key golden look in your outdoor photography session, then we would suggest scheduling your photography session around what is called,
"The Golden Hour." This hour is closer to the hour before sunset which varies depending on daylight savings time. When taking outdoor photos closer to the golden hour time this means it will tend to get darker as we move through the outdoor photography session.
So as Lifestyle Photographers we try our best to take advantage of our light source being the sun. It's important that your outdoor photos look breath taking and stunning. So lighting is key for every outdoor photography session that is scheduled.
Now let's say you scheduled an outdoor photography session at 12pm or high noon to early afternoon which can phase a challenge for most studio photographers. However hiring a Lifestyle Photographer is the best decision you will ever make! This is because a Lifestyle Photographers knowledge and understanding of outdoor lighting and the challenges that comes with outdoor photography brings ease and comfort to your session all around.
However, Lifestyle photographers would know how to utilize these hours of light with the right gear and experience to get the best results in your outdoor photography session. Believe it or not every Lifestyle Photographer loves a cloudy day. You might wonder, why? Well the reason is because the lighting is evenly lit for photography on cloudy days.
So we highly encourage cloudy days. So remember cloudy days or not always bad. So booking the right hour for outdoor photography all depends on you and your schedule. So we look forward to you booking a photography session with our Lifestyle Photographers.
